Felix Römer (actor)
Felix Römer (born February 12, 1960 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor and author . Römer has been a member of the Berlin Schaubühne ensemble on Lehniner Platz since 2002 .
Life
Römer visited the Jesuit College Kalksburg , where he passed his Matura in 1978 . Before studying acting, Römer studied journalism, theater studies and philosophy at the University of Vienna . After the drama diploma followed engagements at the Burgtheater Vienna , Schauspielhaus Graz , the United Theaters Krefeld-Mönchengladbach, the State Theater Saarbrücken , State Theater Kassel and the Schauspiel Dortmund . Römer has lived in Berlin since 2002 and is a member of the ensemble at the Berlin Schaubühne, where he has since worked in productions by Thomas Ostermeier , Luk Perceval , Michael Thalheimer , Volker Lösch , Tom Kühnel , Katie Mitchell , Philipp Preuss and Milo Rau , among others . Römer is the author of several plays that have premiered on various German theaters.

Travel reports and prose texts
Under the title My dear Viennese friend , Römer wrote several travel articles, some of which were published on the FAZ's travel site, about the island of Hiddensee Oh how beautiful it is on Hiddensee and about the island of Sardinia water, nowhere more emerald than here . For the Deutschlandsaga - Fanzine of the Berlin Schaubühne as part of the Deutschlandsaga 2008 theater production, Römer wrote the series "Stories from the Wiener Wirtshaus". In Naomi Schenck's “Archive discarded possibilities”, Felix Römer's prose text “Dead Fish” and others appeared. a. alongside texts by Feridun Zaimoglu , Wilhelm Genazino and Roger Willemsen .
