Morgenrot is a district of Quedlinburg in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt .

Morgenrot is located on the L 85 (formerly Bundesstraße 6 ) east of Quedlinburg. Apart from the main road to Aschersleben, there are only a few access roads. Two bus lines connect the district with Quedlinburg, Ballenstedt and Aschersleben . Dawn was also called "Cameroon" until the beginning of the 20th century.

In 1991 Josef Breun Morgenrot GmbH & Co. KG took over the seed breeding company in Morgenrot. There is also a recycling station and a pig breeding facility.
