The Moriseni Peak (English; Bulgarian връх Морисени wrach Morisseni ) is an 1800 m high and mostly icy mountain in the Lassus Mountains on the Alexander I Island west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 2.7 km south to east of Mount Devol , 8.38 km west-southwest of Ratscheniza Nunatak and 5.55 km east to north of Beagle Peak . Its steep southern slopes are partly not iced. The Nichols Snowfield is to the east and the Naretschen Glacier is northwest of it.
British scientists mapped it in 1971. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2017 after a Thracian tribe who colonized the Bulgarian Black Sea coast .
