The Morte (also: Morthe ) is a river in France that runs in the Haute-Saône department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the municipal area of Bucey-lès-Gy , generally drains in a westerly to northwestern direction and flows into the Saône after 24 kilometers just northeast of Gray as a left tributary .
