Mosconi Cup 2004
When Mosconi Cup 2004 is the eleventh edition of a 1994-annual 9-Ball - snooker tournament in which a European team against a US team plays. In 2006 it took place in the Hotel Zuiderduin from December 16th to 19th in Egmond aan Zee in the Netherlands . Team USA won 12: 9, which was the ninth victory for the Americans.

- Tournament length : A maximum of 23 games are played; the team that wins 12 games first wins the tournament.
- Match length: The game mode in the individual matches is best of 9 , i.e. H. 5 games won are enough to win a set.
- Alternating break: The first kick is played, then the players or teams take turns, regardless of who wins.
- Alternating shot: in team competitions, the players rotate after each shot to the next player on their own team.
- Time limit of the shot: 2004 was the last year in which there was no shot clock . This was introduced in 2005 and set at 30 seconds.
