The Prince Edward Air Ltd. was a Canadian airline based in Charlottetown , Prince Edward Island . It dealt with full charter , cargo line services, ambulance flights, aircraft maintenance, trading and flight service.
history
Prince Edward Air was founded in 1990 for rescue flights, courier flights, scheduled passenger flights and business and leisure charter flights. The company began with a leased plane and a pilot, now President Robert Bateman. Today the company has 15 aircraft and 90 employees. It provides various liner services in eastern Canada.
On May 1, 2008, Cargojet Airways acquired 51% of Prince Edward Airlines. On July 15, 2010, SkyLink Express took over the operational flight business of Prince Edward Air and incorporated it into their company.
