Jazz Aviation (previously Air Canada Jazz ) is a Canadian airline based in Enfield and based at Halifax Airport . It was founded as a subsidiary of Air Canada and still operates regional and feeder flights for these.

history

The airlines Air BC , Air Ontario , Air Nova and Canadian Regional Airlines merged in January 2002 into a regional company owned by the Air Canada named Air Canada Jazz . The parent company Chorus Aviation has been listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange since 2006 . After a restructuring, flight operations are currently being carried out by Jazz Aviation LP . Despite the sale, Jazz Aviation continues to operate flights for Air Canada, under the Air Canada Express brand name since 2011 . In addition to charter flights available.

Jazz Aviation operates numerous regional and feeder flights for Air Canada and mainly serves a large network within Canada . The company's more than 89 destinations (59 in Canada and 30 in the USA) include Toronto-Pearson , Vancouver , Montréal-Trudeau , Calgary , Halifax , Yellowknife , Victoria , Prince Albert, Yarmouth, Regina , Kenora, Comox, Repulse Bay, Saskatoon , Timmins, Winnipeg and Whitehorse in Canada and Seattle-Tacoma , New York-LaGuardia Chicago-O'Hare and Fairbanks in the USA .
