history

The airline was founded in 1979 by director Daryl Smith and the CEO. It is a family business. Daryl Smith brings over 42 years of experience piloting and owning small regional airlines. Its workforce is comprised of many former British Columbia regional airline employees.

Pacific Coastal Airlines is now an established airline on the Canadian west coast.
