Air Canada Rouge is a Canadian airline founded in December 2012 with headquarters in Montreal and based at Montreal-Trudeau Airport and a subsidiary of Air Canada .
concept
In contrast to the parent company, Rouge focuses on the holiday business and therefore only serves many destinations seasonally. Passengers are also offered fewer comfort features compared to Air Canada. The seat spacing on board is smaller and on-board entertainment is only possible via WLAN on devices that you have brought or rented. A Business Class is not offered, but only a Premium Economy Class ( Premium Rouge called). While meals are generally included in the flight price on long-haul flights, alcoholic beverages are only offered at an additional cost in Economy Class.
Destinations
Air Canada Rouge flies from Toronto and Montreal to international destinations in Central America , Europe and the Caribbean . In Europe, Air Canada Rouge flies to Edinburgh , Manchester , Dublin , Lisbon , Barcelona , Venice , Athens , Nice , Rome and Budapest as well as Berlin . The route from Toronto to Berlin-Tegel began on June 1, 2017 and is seasonally operated, which is the first time Rouge is operating in German-speaking countries. Berlin is to be served four times a week. On June 9, 2017, a new, also seasonal route from Montreal to Marseille will begin, which will be served three times a week.
