Starlink Aviation is a Canadian charter and business airline based at Pierre-Elliott-Trudeau Airport, Montréal .
history
The airline was founded in 1981 under the name Avionair . Initially, it was a small charter company with light twin-engine aircraft and a 5,000 m² hangar . The facility now covers 88,000 m². In 1999, a “Managed Aircraft Program” was introduced and in the following year the existing hangar was expanded and office space was added. In 2002 the company was renamed "Starlink Aviation". The airline has been serving the route between Montreal and Bagotville in Québec since 2003 with its “Corporate Shuttle Program” . In 2005 it received accreditation as a fixed-base operator (FBO) and launched the first liner service with an Embraer 120 turboprop . In 2007 the “Managed Aircraft Program” was expanded and in 2008 a service center for Hawker Beechcraft jets was set up. In 2010 another authorized service center (ASC) was added for aircraft of the Embraer Phenom series . The first operation with Boeing aircraft began in 2013 with the Boeing 737 .
