history
The airline Jetsgo was founded in 2001. Operations began on June 12, 2002 under the direction of Michel Leblanc . At the start, the Jetsgo's fleet consisted of three McDonnell Douglas MD-83 aircraft . From its bases in Montreal and Toronto, Jetsgo served various domestic destinations and international routes in the USA in regular service. Charter operations also brought Jetsgo aircraft to Cuba , the Dominican Republic and Mexico . Jetsgo also had a frequent flyer program called JetSmiles . All Jetsgo aircraft were equipped with economy class. On March 11, 2005, Jetsgo ceased flight operations.
