The Sahrbach is a 15.3 km long, western and orographically left tributary of the Ahr in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate , Germany .

The Sahrbach rises as Winkelbach (15.3 km - 13.2 km) in the Flamersheim Forest. The source is north of Scheuren in the Euskirchen area at an altitude of about 384 m above sea level. NHN . From here the stream flows to the east, after a short run it passes under the state road 113 and leaves Euskirchen there. It then flows south between the Bad Münstereifel districts of Scheuren and Maulbach . As Houverather Bach (13.2 km - 10.0 km) it flows through the nature reserve Houverather Bach and tributaries and passes through the district of Houverath . From here it flows as Sahrbach through Kirchsahr and the districts of Binzenbach and Burgsahr. It flows further in an easterly direction and flows in Kreuzberg into the Rhine tributary Ahr coming from the south .
Catchment area and tributaries
On its 15.3 km long path, the stream experiences a height difference of 213 meters, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 13.9 ‰. The 46 km² catchment area is drained to the North Sea via the Ahr and Rhine .
