The place is southeast of Bad Münstereifel. The national road 113 runs through the village. In the village, the district road 52 meets the state road. The village borders the urban area of Rheinbach in the Rhein-Sieg district . The Houverather Bach flows near the village .
history
Scheuren belonged to the independent municipality of Houverath until it was incorporated into Bad Münstereifel on July 1, 1969.
In 1786 the chapel of St. Wendelinus and St. Agatha was built. In the niche above the entrance door there is a figure of St. Wendelin.
