Ellesheim is a district of Bad Münstereifel in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia and belongs to the village community and formerly independent municipality of Mutscheid .

The place is southeast of the old town of Bad Münstereifel. The county road 53 runs through the village. State road 165 runs on the eastern edge of the village. The Buchholzbach flows next to it . The place originally presented itself only as a pure place of residence. There are no shops or restaurants in Ellesheim. Ellesheim essentially runs through Rehnstrasse, where most of the residential buildings are located. There is an art exhibition in the village of Ellesheim. This is housed in a secluded building that was used as a sewing shop around 15 years ago.

Ellesheim belonged to the independent community of Mutscheid until it was incorporated into Bad Münstereifel on July 1, 1969.

• In Ellesheim itself there are two clubs, the bachelor club and the village beautification club. The bachelor club currently (2008) consists of exactly three bachelors. Almost all of the residents of the village are members of the village beautification association.
