History and ownership

Gut Unterdickt belonged to the independent municipality of Houverath until it was incorporated into Bad Münstereifel on July 1, 1969. The courtyard complex with adjacent buildings is owned by the Haniel Forest Administration and was used as the seat of a forester until it was restructured.
