Chapel of the Fourteen Holy Helpers
The construction of the chapel began in 1922 in the immediate vicinity of the so-called Hohnbaum , a mighty beech tree just before the entrance to the village from the direction of Nitterscheid . Despite some support measures, this tree fell victim to a storm and no longer exists today. The chapel was consecrated to the fourteen helpers in need and houses ornate wooden figures of the saints, which were made by Wilfried Beitz from Nitterscheid.
