Rupperath is a district of Bad Münstereifel in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia .

The place is southeast of Bad Münstereifel. District road 56 runs through the village . Directly south of the village is the border with the neighboring state of Rhineland-Palatinate .
history
The place was first mentioned in 1054. In the Middle Ages it was a clearing island that belonged to the Johanniter coming Adenau . The parish church of St. Petruskirche was built from 1904 to 1905 in neo-Romanesque style. The previous building dates back to 1785.
On July 1, 1969, the previously independent municipality of Rupperath was incorporated into Bad Münstereifel.
