Hummerzheim is a district of Bad Münstereifel in the district of Euskirchen , North Rhine-Westphalia and belongs to the village community and formerly independent municipality of Mutscheid .

The place is about 15 km southeast of the core town of Bad Münstereifel. Kreisstraße 50 runs through the village .
history
An ore mine was operated about 400 m from the site until 1747. It was called Klapperschadt .
The village chapel, built in 1956, is under the patronage of St. Maria Königin.
Hummerzheim belonged to the independent community of Mutscheid until it was incorporated into Bad Münstereifel on July 1, 1969.
Chapel of St. Mary Queen
The chapel was completed in 1956 and dedicated to St. Mary . The small bell tower houses a 20 kg bell from 1956.
