The syringe house, built around the turn of the 20th century in the center of the village, was converted into a chapel by the residents in the 1960s under the direction of the architect Siegfried Bucher . Since the renovation, a solemn procession to the Maria Laach Abbey near Mendig has taken place every year, which, in addition to the villagers, regularly attracts numerous visitors from the surrounding villages.
