history
Rodert has belonged to Münstereifel since the end of the 12th century at the latest. Since 1969 it has been part of the then newly formed town of Bad Münstereifel.
On the Eselsberg near Rodert was one of Adolf Hitler's headquarters , the rock nest . From here he commanded the beginning of the western campaign on May 10, 1940 .
