Mossano is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Barbarano Mossano and was an independent municipality in the province of Vicenza in Veneto until 2017 .
geography
Mossano is located about 13.5 kilometers south of Vicenza at an altitude of 89 mslm in the wine-growing region of the Colli Berici .
history
On February 17, 2018, Mossano merged with the municipality of Barbarano Vicentino to form the new municipality of Barbarano Mossano. The former municipality bordered directly on the province of Padua .
Parish partnership
Mossano had an intra-Italian partnership with the municipality of Caronno Pertusella in the province of Varese .
