history

The building was inaugurated on September 10, 1993 by Shirley Bassey in front of 5,500 spectators as the Cardiff International Arena & Convention Center . The building kept this name until 2000. From 2000 to 2011 the hall was known as the Cardiff International Arena , or The CIA for short . The conference center consists of an exhibition hall with an area of ​​4,500 square meters . The main hall of the building, in which internationally successful artists such as Eric Clapton , One Direction , Jessie J , Anastacia , and Jason Derulo have performed, holds a maximum of 7,500 spectators with a minimum occupancy of the stage and standing room.
