Mouléla (Bambeye)

Mouléla (also: Moulléla , Moullélat ) is a village in the rural community of Bambeye in Niger .

The village, led by a traditional chief ( chef traditionnel ), is located in the Ader region about 16 kilometers southwest of Bambeye, the capital of the rural municipality of the same name, which belongs to the Tahoua department in the Tahoua region of the same name . The regional capital Tahoua is located around 39 kilometers northeast of Mouléla.

The place name Mouléla comes from the Tamascheq language and means " autonomy ".

At the 2012 census, Mouléla had 5,440 inhabitants who lived in 907 households. At the 2001 census, the population was 3,253 in 475 households, and at the 1988 census, the population was 2,449 in 283 households.

Mouléla is the birthplace of the politician and manager Ibrahim Nomao .
