Mount Agamemnon is a 2575 m high, snow-covered mountain on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago . It marks the southern end of the Achaean Range . It belongs to the massif of Mount Français , but has its own peak 1.5 km west of the main summit.
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out measurements of the mountain in 1944 and 1955. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it after the Greek king Agamemnon from Homer's Iliad .
