Mount Korsch is a pyramid-shaped mountain about 4000 m high in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Queen Elizabeth Range, it rises on the northwestern edge of the Markham Plateau .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1988 after the Australian geologist Russel J. Korsch (* 1948), who made the first ascent on December 3, 1985, together with his American colleagues Edmund Stump (* 1946) and David G. Edgerton .
