Mount Majerus is a 1635 m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises in the Saint Johns Range at the southern end of the Kuivinen Ridge at a distance of 1.5 km southwest of Lanyon Peak .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the mountain in 2005 after four members of the Majerus family from Rochester , Minnesota , who were involved in various scientific projects between 1980 and 2005, mainly in the region around McMurdo Sound . In particular, these are Nicholas Delbert Majerus (* 1943), his daughter Michelle Renee Majerus (* 1975), his brother Gregory John Majerus (* 1939) and his daughter Nicole Renee Majerus (* 1976).
