Mount Otis is a small mountain peak in Marie Byrd Land in West Antarctica . On the northern flank of the Kirkpatrick Glacier, it rises 2.5 km southwest of Mount Sinha on the southeast edge of the Erickson Bluffs in the McDonald Heights .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy between 1959 and 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1974. Jack Otis, a member of the team on the USCGC Southwind , which in 1971 and 1972 carried out population studies of seals, whales and birds in the area of the Bellingshausen and Amundsen Seas .
