Mount Stephenson is a 2400 m high mountain in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Britannia Range it rises 6 km southwest of Mount Quackenbush on the north flank of the Byrd Glacier not far from the head end of the Ramseier Glacier .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2001 after Simon N. Stephenson, who was involved in various projects of the British Antarctic Survey , NASA and the National Science Foundation in Antarctica from 1984 to 2001 .
