Mount Warnke is a 915 m high mountain in Queen Elizabeth Land in West Antarctica . In the northern Patuxent Range of the Pensacola Mountains it rises 3 km northeast of Martin Peak in the Thomas Hills .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from the years 1956 to 1966. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after the German biologist Detlef Andreas Warnke (* 1928), who from 1966 to 1967 worked on the Palmer station .
