Mount Weller is a 2420  m high mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Quartermain Mountains it rises 6 km southwest of Pyramid Mountain above the west side of the Beacon Valley .

His name can be found for the first time on a map of the New Zealand Department of Lands and Survey , which is based on surveys by New Zealand scientists between 1957 and 1960 and aerial photographs by the United States Navy . Namesake is probably Able Seaman William Isaac Weller (1878 - unknown) of the Royal Navy , who had belonged to the crew on the RRS Discovery during the Discovery Expedition (1901-1904) under the direction of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott and was there in November 1903 together with Petty Officer Thomas Kennar (1876-1945) and the geologist Hartley Ferrar was involved in the first geological exploration of the Quartermain Mountains.
