Mozart Festival competition for singing

The Mozart Festival for Singing at the University of Music Würzburg is a music competition that has been held since 1975. The competition has been limited to classical singing since 1977 and is held roughly every three years at the same time as the Würzburg Mozart Festival . Women and men are rated together.

1st to 4th competition (1975–1979)

5th to 10th competition (1980–1989)

11th to 13th competition (1990–1999)

From the 14th competition (since 2000)

  • 2002 (14th competition): Silke Burth (1st prize), Andrea Stadel (2nd prize), Sebastian Geyer (3rd prize)
  • 2006 (15th competition): Dominik Hosefelder (1st prize), Trine Wilsberg Lund (2nd prize), Steve Wächter (3rd prize)
