Regina Klepper

Regina Klepper , married Regina Böhm (born April 5, 1957 in Baden-Baden ) is a German opera and concert singer ( soprano ).

Life

Regina Klepper studied with Beate von Glasow at the Hanover Music Academy , with Ernst Haefliger and Erik Werba in Munich and with Iris Adami-Corradetti in Padua. Klepper began her stage career in 1982 in Munich, and Anneliese Rothenberger presented her to the television audience. Guest performances have taken Regina Klepper not only to Western Europe, but also to Poland, Sweden ( Drottningholm ), South Africa ( Pretoria ), in Chile to Santiago and in Argentina to Santa Fe and Córdoba .

She sang with tenor partners such as René Kollo , Francisco Araiza , Jonas Kaufmann , and often with the baritone Hermann Prey .

Theo Alcantara , Helmuth Froschauer , Carlos Giraudo , Enoch zu Guttenberg , Nikolaus Harnoncourt , Gustav Kuhn , Kurt Masur , Gabor Ötvös , Georges Prêtre , Helmuth Rilling , Hanns-Martin Schneidt and Peter Schreier are among the conductors with whom she worked .

The singer's repertoire includes many rarities in the field of opera, as well as songs, oratorios and operettas.
