Muckum is a district in the northwest of the East Westphalian city ​​of Bünde . Muckum borders clockwise on the Bünder districts of Dünne , Ennigloh and Holsen and the Rödinghauser district of Bieren .

Until the end of 1968 Muckum was an independent municipality in the Ennigloh district . On January 1, 1969, the place was incorporated into Bünde. Muckum has 787 inhabitants (as of September 30, 2009) and is therefore the most populous district of the Bünder.

The only church in Muckum is the Advent chapel belonging to the Ennigloh parish. The largest sports club in Muckum is FC Muckum. Tönnies Wellensiek was born in Muckum .
