Hikmet Murat Salar (born November 23, 1976 in Hildesheim ) is a former German - Turkish soccer player and current coach .
Career
As a player
Salar played in the 1995/96 season for Werder Bremen's second team in the Regionalliga Nord. He also played a DFB Cup game with the amateur team against SpVgg Unterhaching , which Bremen lost 2-0. From 1998 to 2000 he played for Hertha BSC's second team in the regional league.
He then moved to Turkey and was there under contract with various clubs until 2008. From 2002 to 2005 he played in the 1st Turkish league , in which he came to a total of 42 missions and four goals. His most successful years were the 2002/03 season , when he was third in the Turkish championship with Gençlerbirliği Ankara and the following season 2003/04 , in which he came to Diyarbakirspor to 22 league appearances (12 of them in the starting XI) with three goals.
For the 2008/09 season he moved to VfV 06 Hildesheim and 2011 to FC Oberneuland , where he became assistant coach after his career ended.
As a trainer
On March 28, 2014, the regional division KFC Uerdingen 05 dismissed coach Eric van der Luer . He was succeeded by the former KFC player Erhan Albayrak ; Salar became an assistant coach. After Albayrak was fired 16 days later, Salar assumed the position on April 22, 2014. He received a contract until 2015. Parallel to his work as a coach, Salar continued to play as a player for the national league club TSC Vahdet Braunschweig.
Murat Salar is currently training SV Arminia Hannover and occasionally plays for the district league club SV Newroz Hildesheim.
