Museum Foundation Post and Telecommunications
The Museum Foundation Post and Telecommunications was founded in 1995 as part of the German postal reform . It runs a museum for communication in Berlin , Frankfurt am Main and Nuremberg as well as the archive for philately in Bonn . The Museum for Communication Hamburg was closed on October 19, 2009.
The museums are aimed at a wide audience. In addition to attractive permanent and temporary exhibitions, its range also includes lectures, guided tours , films, workshops , children's workshops and museum parties .
The seat of the federal foundation under public law is Bonn. The board of trustees and the curator act as management bodies . The museum foundation is financially supported by Deutsche Post and Deutsche Telekom .
