The Musication Vocational School for Music is a state-recognized vocational school for music based in Nuremberg .
history
There have been vocational schools for music in Bavaria since 1977 . It was founded against the background of an upswing in amateur music and the need to train qualified ensemble and choir leaders. A state vocational school for music was founded in every Bavarian administrative district.
As an extension of the existing music school , the music teacher Werner Steinhauser initiated Musication in 2005 as a private vocational school for music. In 2010 she received her state recognition. The vocational school music in Nuremberg enables the qualification as a state-certified ensemble leader or in the fields of classical music and rock , pop , jazz and, after a third year of training, the acquisition of a teaching qualification as a music teacher at singing and music schools. At the same time, the two-year training can be the first part of the four-year specialist teacher training for elementary, special needs and secondary schools. Training at the music vocational school can also prepare you for studying at a music college .
