Mustafa Bahadır (born May 30, 1969 in Trabzon ) is a former Turkish soccer player and current soccer coach.
Player career
The initial phase of Bahadır's footballing career is largely undocumented. He began to play for the second division Petrol Ofisi SK from the summer of 1990 . For this club he made a total of 18 league games as a supplementary player in two seasons. For the 1992/93 season he was loaned to city and league rivals Keçiörengücü . In the next season he started at Petrol Ofisi, but was loaned to the third division Alanyaspor in October 1993 .
In the summer of 1994 he left Petrol Ofisi after this club had achieved promotion to the 1st Lig and moved within Ankara to the third division DHMİ Ankara . After this club he played for a number of third and second division teams before moving to the second division side Bucaspor in the summer of 1998 . For this club he played for the next two years. He then moved to Altay Izmir in 2000 . He left this association just a few days after signing the contract. He subsequently played for various third and fourth division teams before he ended his career in the summer of 2004 at the amateur club Buca Zaferspor .
Coaching career
After his active career, he decided to become a football coach. First he worked from 2007 as an assistant coach at Istanbul sports club Maltepespor . He returned to Bucaspor in the summer of 2007 and worked in various positions for the youth department until 2010.
In the 2011/12 season he was the head coach of Somaspor .
In the summer of 2013 Bahadır was hired at Bucaspor as a coach of the reserve team. After the head coach of the 1st team, Kemal Kılıç , resigned from his position at the end of November 2013 , Bahadır replaced him as head coach. Since Bahadır does not have a license as head coach, Mehmet Nuri Adıgüzel is officially given as head coach and Bahadır as assistant coach. At the end of the season he was then replaced by Sait Karafırtınalar . For the second half of the season he took over the head coach at Bucaspor and replaced his successor Sait Karafırtınalar.
