Mustafa Levent bilge

Mustafa Levent Bilgen (* 1966 in Ankara ) is a Turkish diplomat . He has been Turkey's ambassador in Abu Dhabi since 2014 .

Life

Bilgen received his bachelor's degree in business administration in 1990 and his master's degree in international relations from George Mason University in 1993 . In 1995 he joined the Foreign Service and was responsible for trade promotion (Yurtdışı Tanıtım) in the Department of Commerce and Culture until 1997. From 1997 to 1999 he was employed in Beijing and from 1999 to 2002 in Tel Aviv . From 2002–2003 he worked in the Politics Department and from 2003–2007 at the UN headquarters . From 2007 to 2009, Bilgen was a special advisor to Tahsin Burcuoğlu , General Secretary of Millî Güvenlik Kurulu . In 2009 he worked for the International Civil Aviation Organization in Montreal . In November 2009 he became Consul General in Toronto . From December 2011 to September 2014 he was Consul General in New York City . Since December 3, 2014, he has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Abu Dhabi .

Mustafa Levent Bilgen is married and has two children.
