Mykytynzi ( Ukrainian Микитинці ; Russian Никитинцы Nikitinzy , Polish Mikityńce, Mykietyńce ) is a village in the Ukrainian Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast with about 3,100 inhabitants (2008).
The village, first mentioned in writing in 1510, is located in the Subcarpathian Mountains , within the historical Galicia landscape on the bank of the Bystryzja Nadwirnjanska ( Бистриця Надвірнянська ), a 94 km long tributary of the Bystryzja .
The 1.268 km² village is the only place in the district council of the same name , which administratively belongs to the urban district of Ivano-Frankivsk , the city center of which is about 5 km northwest of Mykytynzi.
The N 18 road runs through the village .
