Myriam Atz Tammerle

Myriam Atz Tammerle (born May 1, 1980 in Bozen ) is a South Tyrolean politician and innkeeper. She has been a member of the South Tyrolean Parliament since 2014 .

biography

Atz Tammerle grew up in Kaltern and moved to Schenna with her husband in 2006 to run the traditional Thurnerhof inn . In 2010 she was elected to the local council of Schenna for the South Tyrolean freedom .

In the state elections in 2013 Atz Tammerle received 1,495 preferential votes and landed fourth on her list, making her the first non-elected; after Eva Klotz left, she moved to the South Tyrolean state parliament on December 2, 2014, and at the same time joined the Trentino-South Tyrol regional council .

In the 2018 state elections , she was able to more than double her 2013 result with 3,403 preferential votes and moved back to the state parliament and regional council as the second elector of South Tyrolean Freedom.

Myriam Atz Tammerle is married and has a daughter and a son.

Controversy

Outrage made a public statement Atz Tammerles 2020 when she an Italian provider of student transportation as " walsch " discredited. The statement was generally perceived as racist and rejected by other political forces.
