Myron Rolle (born October 30, 1986 in Houston , Texas ) is a Bahamian - American American football player in the position of safety . He played college football for Florida State University . In the National Football League (NFL) he was in the squad of the Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers , but was never used in an NFL game.

Early life

Rolle grew up in Galloway Township, New Jersey . He first attended the Peddie School , where he played saxophone in the school band, sang and was the sports editor of the school newspaper. He then moved to the Hun School of Princeton. He played high school football under head coach Dave Dudeck, where he became an All-American . ESPN 's recruiting service named Role the Number One High School Talent in the Country. Rivals.com rated him the twelfth best player and the best athlete of all time and the best New Jersey player.

American football

Rolle was drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft . He previously played college football at Florida State University . He was named the Second Smartest Professional Athlete by The Sporting News in 2010. With the Titans, he couldn't get past the Practice Squad and was fired before the start of the 2011 season. 2012 signed the Steelers role, but also fired him before the start of the season.

After his active career, he studied medicine , which he completed with a Medical Doctor . Myron Rolle works in neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital
