2010 Census
According to the 2010 census , Naches had 795 residents, 317 households and 225 families. The population density was 444.9 / km². There were 346 housing units at an average density of 193.6 per km². The population was 92.8% white , 0.6% African-American , 1.5% Indian , 3.3% other "races" and 1.8% two or more "races" . Hispanics or Latinos of "any race" made up 8.3% of the population.
Of the 317 households, 37.9% had children under the age of 18, 45.7% were run by married couples living together , 16.4% by single mothers and 8.8% by single fathers; 29.0% were non-families. 23.7% of the households were singles and 9.2% were single persons over 65 years of age. The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 2.88 people.
The median age in the city was 37.4 years. 26.3% of the population were under 18, 9.1% between 18 and 24, 24.7% between 25 and 44, 27.3% between 45 and 64 and 12.6 years or older. 49.6% of the population were men and 50.4% women.

As of the 2000 census, Naches had 643 residents, 258 households and 175 families. The population density was 620.7 / km². There were 279 housing units at an average density of 269.3 per km². The population consisted of 86.94% white people, 1.40% Indians, 0.16% Asian, 0.16% Pacific islanders , 6.69% other "races" and 4 , 67% from two or more “races”. Hispanics or Latinos of "any race" made up 10.89% of the population.
Of the 258 households, 32.6% had children under the age of 18, 53.4% were run by married couples living together and 12.4% by single mothers; 31.8% were non-families. 26.7% of the households were singles and 11.2% were single persons over 65 years of age. The average household size was 2.49 and the average family size was 3.04.
The median age in the city was 34 years. 26.6% of the population were under 18, 10.0% between 18 and 24, 30.5% between 25 and 44, 20.8% between 45 and 64 and 12.1% 65 years or older. There were 102.2 men for every 100 women, and 86.6 men for every 100 women over the age of 18.
All information on median income relates to the median. The median household income was US $ 42,083 and that of families was US $ 47,679. Men had a median income of US $ 28,750 compared to US $ 22,961 for women. The per capita income was US $ 15,084. About 10.7% of families and 11.0% of the total population lived below the poverty line ; this affected 13.8% of those under the age of 18 and 4.5% of those over 65.
