2010 Census

According to the 2010 census , Naches had 795 residents, 317 households and 225 families. The population density was 444.9 / km². There were 346 housing units at an average density of 193.6 per km². The population was 92.8% white , 0.6% African-American , 1.5% Indian , 3.3% other "races" and 1.8% two or more "races" . Hispanics or Latinos of "any race" made up 8.3% of the population.

Of the 317 households, 37.9% had children under the age of 18, 45.7% were run by married couples living together , 16.4% by single mothers and 8.8% by single fathers; 29.0% were non-families. 23.7% of the households were singles and 9.2% were single persons over 65 years of age. The average household size was 2.51 and the average family size was 2.88 people.

The median age in the city was 37.4 years. 26.3% of the population were under 18, 9.1% between 18 and 24, 24.7% between 25 and 44, 27.3% between 45 and 64 and 12.6 years or older. 49.6% of the population were men and 50.4% women.

As of the 2000 census, Naches had 643 residents, 258 households and 175 families. The population density was 620.7 / km². There were 279 housing units at an average density of 269.3 per km². The population consisted of 86.94% white people, 1.40% Indians, 0.16% Asian, 0.16% Pacific islanders , 6.69% other "races" and 4 , 67% from two or more “races”.
