Nadezhda Sementsova

Nadezhda Semenzowa (born November 2, 1985 ) is an Azerbaijani wrestler of Ukrainian origin. In 2010 and 2011 she became European champion in the weight class up to 67 kg.

Career

Nadezhda Semenzowa came as a teenager in the Ukraine for rings. She also played her first international championships for this country. The blonde athlete took 5th place in the 2001 European Junior Championship (age group Cadets = up to the age of 16) in the weight class up to 65 kg. A year later, in 2002, she became vice European champion in the juniors (cadets) in the same weight class and in 2005 she came in 5th place in the junior European championships in Wrocław in the weight class up to 67 kg.

After that, she did not make the leap into the first set of women wrestlers in the Ukraine and so did not make any appearances in the international championships. She therefore changed her nationality in 2008 and has since started for Azerbaijan . In addition, she became a member of Atasport Baku . Your coach has been Sergei Latyshev since then. But she still lives and trains in Ukraine.

In 2010, Nadezhda Semenzowa competed in the first international competition for Azerbaijan and was European champion in the weight class up to 67 kg in Baku. She won over Ashlea McManus, Great Britain , Sandra Mäkelä, Sweden , Irina Zirkewitsch , Belarus and Kateryna Burmistrowa , Ukraine. At this year's World Cup in Moscow , she defeated Badrachyn Odontschimeg from Mongolia , then lost to Jelena Shalygina from Kazakhstan , defeated Burcu Orskaya , Turkey , but then lost the battle for a bronze medal against Alla Cherkassova from Ukraine and therefore only came up 5th place.

In 2011 Nadezhda Semenzow managed to defend her title in the weight category up to 67 kg at the European Championships in Dortmund. Three victories over Burcu Orskaya, Hanna Savenia, Belarus and Alina Stadnik-Machina , Ukraine were enough for her . At the 2011 World Cup in Istanbul , she first defeated the Russian champion Natalja Kuksina , but then lost to the Japanese Yoshiko Inoue , with which she was eliminated and only came in 9th place.

At the European Championships in Belgrade in 2012 , Nadezhda Semenzowa came third in the weight class up to 67 kg behind Henna Johansson from Sweden and Alla Cherkassova and thus won a bronze medal .
