The Natisone , Slovenian Nadiža , Friulian Nadison ( Latin Natiso ) is a 55 km long tributary of the Torre in Slovenia and Italy . It is the main tributary of the Torre, which connects the Natisone with the Isonzo .

The Natisone rises on the Italian-Slovenian border through the confluence of the two source rivers Rio Bianco (Bela Nadiža), which comes from the municipality of Taipana , and Rio Nero / Črni Patok, the border river, at 415  m . It then flows a short distance through the Slovenian municipality of Kobarid and then crosses the Italian municipalities of Pulfero , San Pietro al Natisone , Cividale del Friuli , Premariacco , Manzano and San Giovanni al Natisone . In the municipality of Trivignano Udinese (which, however, is on the other bank of the Torre) it finally flows into the Torre.
