Nadia - The Secret of Blue Water - The Movie ( Japanese ふ し ぎ の 海 の ナ デ ィ ア 劇場 用 オ リ ジ ナ ル 版 , Fushigi no Umi no Nadia: Gekijōyō Originaru-ban ) is an anime film from 1991 that was featured on the television series Die Macht of the magic stone builds up. Three years after the events of the Nautilus and New Atlantis, Jean lives as an inventor in France in Le Havre and Nadia as a journalist in London. Then, important politicians and military dissolve over again around the world literally in the air and on the beach front home Jeans he finds a girl, fuzzy, that of amnesia suffers. When Nadia comes across documents that are supposed to solve the riddle of the missing people, she sends parts of them to Jean. The files show that people in important positions around the world have been replaced by robots that can vaporize due to a malfunction. However, shortly afterwards she is captured by a mysterious organization. There she learns from their leader Giegar that he wants to use the robots to start a world war in order to then unite the destroyed world under his rule. To do this, he works with Dr. Whola, who explores the creation of artificial life and thus creates robots. His daughter is Fuzzy, who fled from him.

At the same time, Grandis, Hanson and Sanson appear at Jean and bring Fuzzy to Giegars men, believing that Jean has kidnapped them. But during the exchange, the handover of Fuzzy's should be paid for, they realize that Giegar set them up. Nevertheless, Jean and Fuzzy initially fall into the hands of Giegars, who uses the technology from Atlantis. But Grandis, Hanson and Sanson can save Jean and Nadia. Now they make their way to the island that is Giegar's headquarters to prevent the impending world war and save Fuzzy.

Finally, on the island, Giegar, Nadia, Jean, Fuzzy and Dr. Whola, who reveals that Fuzzy is not his real daughter, but also just a robot and therefore does not love her. But when Giegar tries to shoot them all, she saves his life. Finally, he too rebels against Giegar and destroys his headquarters, so that all robots evaporate and the world war is averted. But he dies too and Fuzzy disappears into thin air as Jean, Nadia, Grandis, Hanson and Sanson escape from the island.

Production and publication

The film was produced in 1991 by the Seiei Animation studio, directed by Sho Aono. The character design was created by Kouichi Takada and Yoshiyuki Sadamoto and the artistic direction was taken over by Masanori Kikuchi.

The film was broadcast in English by The Anime Network and translated into French and Italian, among others. A German version was published by OVA Films in 2006 .
