Close to fire is the 7th studio album by German pop singer Andrea Berg . It was released in April 2002.
production
The album was produced and arranged by Eugen Römer , who had also produced Andrea Berg's previous studio albums. The cover picture and the pictures in the booklet are from Manfred Esser. Most of the lyrics come from Joachim Horn-Bernges , with Andrea Berg, Irma Holder and Norbert Hammerschmidt also contributing individual lyrics. The composer of all songs is Eugen Römer. The album was mixed in Moonlight Studio and mastering took place in Sound Studio N. The album was both Ariola than tape , as well as by Sony BMG released on CD. After the success of the CD, Andrea Berg and Eugen Römer agreed to work together for another five years. In times of short-winded A&R strategies, this was viewed as a remarkable process by the specialist press.
