Naim Krieziu (born January 4, 1918 in Đakovica , Kingdom of Serbia , † March 20, 2010 in Rome , Italy ) was an Albanian football player who played on the position of a winger.

Life

Naim Krieziu started his career at SK Tirana ; where he played until the season 1939/40 to AS Roma in the Italian Serie A moved. From his second season in Rome he was used regularly. In 1941/42 , Krieziu was part of the Roma tribe , which under Alfréd Schaffer won the first championship title in the club's history.

For the 1947/48 season, Krieziu moved to league rivals SSC Napoli here, the Albanian made the leap into the regular formation straight away. In his first season for the Neapolitans, the club rose to the Serie B from. Here you stayed two seasons before you could return to the top division for the 1950/51 season. The SSC Napoli was subsequently able to assert itself there. For the 1953/54 season, Krieziu moved to the fourth division club FC Turris in Torre del Greco , where he ended his career at the end of the season. After the end of his career, the Albanian worked as an assistant coach at his ex-club AS Roma before he became head coach for the fourth division club Almas Roma for two seasons .

Krieziu died at the age of 92 and was the last living player of the famous AS Roma scudetto . On the day of his death, AS Roma played the championship game against Udinese with a black ribbon .
