Nalo Hopkinson
Nalo Hopkinson (born December 20, 1960 in Jamaica ) is a Canadian author .
Life
Hopkinson was born in Jamaica in 1960. After finishing school, Hopkinson studied at Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
In 1995 she participated in the renowned Clarion workshop for budding science fiction and fantasy authors, where she subsequently also worked as a lecturer. As a writer, Hopkinson has written several novels and short stories in the fields of science fiction and fantasy and has received several prizes and awards for her work. Hopkinson became a Canadian citizen and lives in Canada.
