The Namibia Post and Telecommunications Holdings ( NPTH ) is the state-owned umbrella company of various telecommunications and postal companies in Namibia .

It is based in the Namibian capital Windhoek . NPTH is led by CEO Frans Ndoroma , who is also General Director of Telecom Namibia .

After Telecom Namibia took over the only private mobile operator TN Mobile in 2012, the Namibian competition authority made the dissolution of the state holding company a condition. In July 2014 this dissolution was confirmed by the government of Namibia. In May 2014, the Minister of Information called on the NPTH board to liquidate it by 2017 at the latest. As of the end of 2017, this has not happened. [outdated]
