Nando Cicero

Nando Cicero (actually Fernando Cicero , born January 22, 1931 in Asmara , Eritrea , † July 30, 1995 in Rome ) was an Italian film director , screenwriter and actor . He became known for his spaghetti westerns in the late 1960s.

Life

Cicero began his career as an actor in Rome in the early 1950s, but did not get beyond supporting roles, so he switched to the other side of the camera and worked as an assistant director for Luchino Visconti and Francesco Rosi , among others . From the mid-1960s he made a number of films as a director; Two times Judas and Klaus Kinski stand out among his spaghetti westerns. He later turned to comedies , filming with Franco & Ciccio as well as some of the Sexy Comedies with Edwige Fenech .
